Fruit-Yogurt Swirl

 

Recipe By : Cooking Light, Jan/Feb 1993, page 106

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

1/2 cup pineapple chunks in juice -- unsweetened, chilled

--drained and canned

1/2 cup peach slices in juice -- unsweetened, chilled

--drained and canned

5 ice cubes

3 whole fresh strawberries

1 medium banana -- frozen

8 ounces vanilla low-fat yogurt

 

Combine all ingredients in container of an electric blender; cover and until

smooth. Yield: 3 cups (serving size: 1 cup).

 

 

Per serving = 185 calories, 1 gm fat, 4 mg cholesterol, 55 mg sodium, 40 gm

carbohydrate, 5 gm protein, 4 gm fiber

Exchanges: 2 fruit, 1/2 other carbohydrate

Serving Ideas : Pour into glasses, and serve immediately.
