Guest guest Posted June 6, 2000 Report Share Posted June 6, 2000 Marshmallow Cream (fluff) is not vegan, but it is vegetarian. * Exported from MasterCook * Fruit Chunks with Creamy Marshmallow Dip Recipe By : Cooking Light - October 1998 Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : 1998 Appetizers/Dips Dessert/Fruit Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 8 ounces pineapple chunks in juice -- unsweetened 2 unpeeled apples -- cut in 16 pieces 16 tangerine sections 16 seedless green grapes 8 fresh strawberries -- cut in half lengthwi **CREAMY MARSHMALLOW DIP** 1/2 cup lowfat cream cheese 1/2 cup lowfat strawberry yogurt 1/4 cup marshmallow cream Drain pineapple in a sieve over a bowl, reserving juice. Set aside 16 pineapple chunks and 1/4 cup juice, reserving remaining pinapple and juice for another use. Place 1/4 cup pineapple juice in a large bowl, and stir in pineapple chunks, apple pieces, tangerine sections, grapes and strawberry halves. Chill. Spoon fruit evenly into 8 small bowls; top each with 2 tbsp Creamy Marshmallow Dip. Creamy Marshmallow Dip: Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl, and beat at low speed of a mixer until well-blended. Cover and chill for 2 hours.
