Naturally Sweetened Muffins for Children

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 1/3 cups whole wheat flour

1/3 cup maple syrup

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda -- 1/2 " cubes

1 tablespoon safflower or corn oil

1/2 cup spring water

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

 

Combine ingredients, ladle into oiled muffin tins, and bake in moderate oven for

about 20 minutes. Makes 6.
