Guest guest Posted June 1, 2000 Report Share Posted June 1, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Simple Basil Pasta Salad Recipe By :The Teen's Vegetarian Cookbook, Judy Krizmanic Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : The Teen's Vegetarian Cookbook Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 8 ounces radiatore, bowtie, or wagon-wheel pasta 1 medium tomato -- chopped into small chunks 1/2 cup sliced black olives 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil 3 cloves garlic -- finely chopped 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoons lemon juice 2 1/2 teaspoons red wine vinegar salt & pepper to taste Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, combine tomato, olives, basil, and garlic in a bowl. In a separate bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, and red wine vinegar. When pasta has finished cooking, drain it and add to the tomato mixture. Add dressing and toss everything together. Add salt & pepper to taste.
