Guest guest Posted May 31, 2000 Report Share Posted May 31, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Molasses Baked Beans Recipe By :adapted from Southern Living, May, 1999 Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 large onion -- chopped 1 large green bell pepper -- chopped 4 garlic cloves -- minced 1 tablespoon olive oil 4 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes -- drained 1 14.5 oz can vegetable broth 1 cup molasses 3 15.5 oz cans great Northern beans -- rinsed and drained 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper SAUTE first 3 ingredients in hot oil in a Dutch oven until tender Stir in tomatoes and remaining ingredients.
