SELF RISING FLOUR

Recipe By : Fran jd4

Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00

Categories : Cooking Tips Substitutes

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cu flour

The Gold Medal flour sack says self rising flour is made by adding 1 1/2 tsp.

of baking powder and 1/2 tsp. salt to 1 cup all-purpose flour.

NOTES: If you want to substitute self-rising flour for regular flour in a

recipe, just omit the baking powder and salt from the recipe, and use

self-rising flour.
