Guest guest Posted May 9, 2000 Report Share Posted May 9, 2000 After Karen kindly alerted me to MC's possible problem with blank lines, I edited for one more try- * Exported from MasterCook * Sesame Tofu Recipe By :Tofu and Soyfoods Cookery - Peter Golbitz Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/3 cup sesame seeds 1/3 cup unbleached white flour nothing Ginger Sauce: 1 1-inch cube ginger root 2 cloves garlic 2 tablespoons tamari soy sauce 2 tablespoons water Preheat the oven to 350F. Grind the sesame seeds and flour together in a food processor or blender, and transfer to a bowl. To make the sauce, chop the ginger root and garlic in a food processor or blender, then add the tamari and water, and process until blended. Dip each tofu slice into the sauce, then dredge in the flour sesame mixture. Arrange the slices on a cookie sheet spread with the oil. Sprinkle any leftover sauce over the slices, then any leftover flour mixture. Bake 20 minutes on one side, then flip and bake 10 minutes on the other side.
