Guest guest
Apologies in advance if this is off-topic... I have noticed that some of the recipes posted here have " points " listed. I know that the new Weight Watchers program uses a point system; do these points refer to that? (This may have been explained before I rejoined the list, or maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention :-) Anyway, does anyone have any info to share about the new Weight Watchers? I have joined and rejoined that group too many times to even count, and believe it or not, have been a " Lifetime Member " since 1977 (that means I got to my goal and was able to maintain it for 8 weeks.) I know that Weight Watchers is a sensible program, but I found that once I became a vegetarian it didn't work very well for me anymore, because all it did was substitute more eggs and cheese for what most people would eat as protein (you know - the M word!) I always felt that the WW so called vegetarian program didn't really reflect the way that vegetarians actually ate, so I basically gave up on it, but now my weight has gotten to the point where I feel that I really have to do something about it, and would consider rejoining WW again, if I felt that it would meet my needs this time. I'd appreciate any information or insight that anyone might have. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi, Miriam! You're not off-topic at all! Yes, the points noted on many recipes do refer to WW points. A few people, especially Jenn (Hi, Jenn!), add this information to their recipes.
