Barbecue Sauce with Beer

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup flat beer

2 teaspoons stoneground mustard

1/4 cup molasses

1 teaspoon vegetarian Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

 

In a small saucepan,, stir together ketchup, beer, mustard, molasses,

Worcestershire sauce, cumin, and cinnamon. Bring sauce to a boil over medium

heat. Reduce to a simmer and continue to cook for 5 minutes, stirring

occasionally. Taste and adjust seasonings.

Cool. Cover and refrigerate until serving time.
