Guest guest Posted April 21, 2000 Report Share Posted April 21, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Spicy Black Bean Spread Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:08 Categories : Beans Dips Quick and Easy Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 can black beans -- (15 ounces) rinsed, drained 1 can diced green chilies -- (4 ounces) drained 3 garlic cloves -- minced 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1/4 cup canned vegetable or chicken stock -- (1/4 to 1/2) 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro Baguette slices -- assorted crackers Combine black beans, green chilies, garlic and cumin in processor and process to thick paste. With processor running, add enough broth to make mixture spreadable. Stir in cilantro. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
