Here is a recipe someone asked me to figure the points out. The cake using the

lower fat notes is 6 points per serving and the icing is 3 points per

serving.Jenn

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 box yellow cake mix, sweet rewards

1 1/4 Egg Beaters® 99% egg substitute

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

1 cup buttermilk

2 tablespoons cocoa

2 ounces red food color

 

Combine ingredients. Beat 2 minutes and bake as package directs. Cool for 15

min. Ice cake with light cream cheese icing.

 

LOWER FAT NOTES: Use 1 1/4 cup egg beaters or egg whites instead of 5 eggs, use

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce instead of oil, use yellow cake mix, sweet

rewards.

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

8 ounces Cool Whip® Fat Free

 

Cream first 3 ingredients. Beat in cool whip.

 

Shannon's Notes: This is really light & fluffy and can also be used as a filling

for pumpkin rolls, etc
