Guest guest Posted April 18, 2000 Report Share Posted April 18, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Lemon Poppy Seed Dressing Recipe By :Soy of Cooking - Marie Oser Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 tablespoons poppy seeds 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons lite extra-firm silken tofu -- drained 1/2 cup soymilk lite 1/4 cup liquid Fruitsource or honey 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 scallions -- sliced 1 large shallot -- quartered 1 clove garlic -- peeled 2 tablespoons mellow white miso Place poppy seeds in a small frying pan, and toast lightly about 3 minutess over medium heat, shaking pan gently. Set aside. Place tofu in food processor and blend until smooth. Add soymilk, and blend. Add remaining ingredients and process to mix. Add poppy seeds. Blend. Chill until ready to serve.
