And I used canned white corn as I was unable to find any frozen. * Exported from MasterCook * Creamed Artichokes Recipe By :Soy of Cooking - Marie Oser Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper 3/4 cup sliced scallions 3 cloves garlic -- minced 3 tablespoons whole wheat flour 1 1/2 cups soymilk lite 1/2 cup nutritional yeast 1 13 3/4 oz can quartered artichokes 1 cup frozen white corn -- thawed 1 tablespoon dried marjoram 1 tablespoon tamari soy sauce dash cayenne Heat oil and crushed pepper in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add scallions and garlic; saute 3 minutes. Stir in flour and cook to a paste, 1 to 2 minutes. Add soymilk gradually, stirring over medium heat. Add nutritional yeast, stirring until smooth and thickened, about 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and lower heat.
