My Obligatory Homepage http://home.att.net/~bonnithoza * Exported from MasterCook * White tortillas Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Breads Ethnic Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening 3/4 cup warm water Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Cut in shortening. Blend until mixture is the consistency of coarse meal. Add water slowly and mix. Knead mixture. If dough is a little sticky, add extra flour a little at a time. Separate dough into 10 2-inch balls.
