" --Dorothy Parker * Exported from MasterCook * Banana Pudding Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 10 egg yolks 1 cup white sugar 2 tablespoons flour -- (2 to 3) 4 tablespoons vanilla 4 cups milk 3 bunches bananas sliced Toasted almonds -- for garnish Shaved chocolate -- for garnish Separate Eggs Beat Yolks, Sugar, Flour and Vanilla together Heat Milk in double boiler Add a little milk to eggs to temper the egg mixture Add custard ingredients back into the saucepot and cook for 5 to 10 minutes until it becomes thick; be careful not to burn the mixture. Layer the sliced bananas into an oval baking dish and cover with a layer of custard, repeat process until all ingredients have been used. Finishing with the custard.
