Tempeh-Lemon Broil

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 pound tempeh

1 large onion -- sliced

juice of 3 lemons

1/4 cup olive oil

3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

2 garlic cloves -- minced

 

Cut the tempeh into 16 chunks. Place in a bowl with the sliced onion.

Mix the lemon juice, olive oil, soy sauce, and garlic. Pour mixture over tempeh

and onion. Marinate for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator.

Preheat the oven to 400F. Bake for 30 minutes in a roasting pan, basting with

the marinade occasionally.
