Passover & Easter

With Passover and Easter coming up soon -- I thought y'all might like

to post your Passover & Easter dinner recipes and/or menus over the next

couple of weeks. If you would just like to let us know what you're serving

and would like to post a menu, this doesn't have to be in MasterCook format

for those who don't have MasterCook.

We celebrate Easter (sort of), and the past several years it has become

a tradition to serve Spanakopita (made completely from scratch) along with

other Greek-style dishes. My Greek neighbors get a real kick out of my

doing this for some reason (I'm not the least bit Greek). This year, I'm

also planning to make a Chocolate Carrot Cake (with White Chocolate Cream

Cheese Frosting) and decorate it sort of like the one in the latest issue

of Bon Appetit. Thanks to my friend, Ellen McKenzie (Hi, Ellen!), who gave

me the recipe and a sample of the cake! I'll be posting my recipes over

the next couple of weeks.

Last year, I found some sites with some good vegetarian Passover

recipes, and I'll post the links to those. I know that Risa has a good

collection of Passover recipes (hint, hint), that maybe she can share some

once she gets settled in with her new ISP.
