Breakfast Shake

1 cup apple juice

1/2 cup silken tofu -- drained

2 pitted soft dates, or 1 tablespoon honey

(or a natural sweetener)

1 tablespoon tahini (optional)

1 medium banana -- peeled, cut into chunks, and frozen

 

Combine the apple juice, tofu, and dates in a blender. Add the tahini, if

using, and blend until smooth, about 30 seconds. Add the banana and blend until

thick and creamy, about 30 seconds. To serve, pour into a large glass.
