Guest guest
I baked these today for my dad, who is diabetic. I found the recipe at http://www.diabeticgourmet.com. They have a whole index of recipes and most of them look really good. This one is for a bar cookie. Great way of using up that last 1/2 cup of applesauce in the jar. Taste great too, I just tasted one. * Exported from MasterCook * Applesauce Bar Cookies (Diabetic) Recipe By : Diabetic Gourmet Serving Size : 24 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 3/4 cups cake flour -- sifted 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground allspice 1/8 tsp ground cloves 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 cup margarine -- softened 3/4 cup sugar -- OR 8 pkts Sweet One sweetener + 1/4 c + 1/8 c. sugar 1 egg 1/2 cup applesauce 1/2 cup raisins mixed with a little flour Preheat oven to 350°F.
