Perhaps someone can recomend to me a good vegan bread recipe. I would like

to be able to use my bread maker, but everytime I try to make bread, it

comes out hard and doesn't taste good. I welcome suggestions. I'm not an

experiences baker- if you can't tell :)

Thank you.

APRIL is National Soyfoods Month!!

Have you ever tried a soyfood? Or maybe you have eaten fresh vegetable

soybeans (Edamame)? If you haven't yet.....you really are missing out.

Since the FDA announced on October 21st that eating soy protein reduces

the risk of coronary heart disease, people have been trying soy more and

more. In fact, there are over 26 million Americans that are now

estimated

to eat soyfoods.

Soy is packed with phytoestrogens, which may boost immunity, reduce the

risk of cancers like ovarian, prostate and breast cancers. Soy is also

loaded with saponins, which may block cholesterol absorption, and high

levels of phytosterols, which may lower the risk of colon cancer.

Frieda's offers several soyfood products that will help you incorporate

soy into our diet. Items like Soyrizo, Soytaco, Tofu (Soft, Firm and

Extra-Firm), Edamame, Veggieloaf and Soy Nuts.

If you have any questions about these products feel free to either call

us

at our toll-free # 1-800-241-1771 or visit our website at

(go to the " Product Spotlight " section under " Vegetarian Items " ).

Have a great day from your friend's at Frieda's:-)
