Guest guest
What are people cooking for dinner nowadays? We had a lazyweekend without cooking a proper dinner, just had snacks instead. We had baked potatoes with coleslaw, baked potatoes with sweetcorn, baked beans on toast, pesto pasta etc. Tonight we are having a Redwoods roast with roast potatoes, roast parsnip, and kale and carrots. Tomorrow we will do some 'proper' cooking. I'm beginning to feel more like hotpots and casseroles etc. now the cooler evenings are here. Guest guest
I was wondering...I make pasta salad, I found a really good whole grain pasta with flax that works great. I'd like to incorporate edamame, but I'm not too sure how to work with it? I've only had it once, sauteed in the pods, but the furry pods were a bit off-putting. LOL I liked the beans once I decided to just open up the pods. <grin> I've only seen it frozen in the pods, so could I just thaw them out and shell them, or should I cook the beans first? Thanks!
