Guest guest
Last weekend we visited Peter and Katy and went out for a meal at Cafe Kino, which is a kind of local vegan co-op cafe. I'm not surprised it has won awards! The food was delicious. I had a pie (puff pastry filled with mushroom, bacony bits, and other vegetables in a white sauce) served with chips and a very good green leaf salad with sundried tomato dressing. For desert I had an ice cream sundae with chocolate sauce, strawberries, grapes and blueberries. Jo
Guest guest
Hi Jo, is your Vegan chat located out of England? Just curious. In case I ever prepare a trip to the UK, I will have the resources to know where to stay and find out the good vegan restaurants to locate. Thanks so much! Gigi p.s., if you read my veganfitnesss profile, you'll see me and my mention of liking the British men with their accents lol. Have a great day! Gigi p.s., I guess you could say I have insomnia right now, as it is 4 a.m. my time in NJ.!!! (and btw, today is my birthday!!). heartwerk <jo.heartwork Wed, 1 Aug 2007 2:46 am Cafe Kino Last weekend we visited Peter and Katy and went out for a meal at Cafe Kino, which is a kind of local vegan co-op cafe. Guest guest
Hi Peter is the owner of the list, and is in England as am I. The majority of our members are from America though. If you do come to England we will do our best to recommend decent places to stay and eat. Jo , veganfitness wrote: > > > Hi Jo, is your Vegan chat located out of England? Just curious.
