just saying hello to everyone. new to a vegan life, been a 99% vegie

for a long time and now a 99% vegan, im getting there.

after shopping, i could not belive how much stuff has aimal parts in it

when you'd expect none at all. all i can say is, keep reading the

labels and if not sure... put it back.

Hi Bagpuss

Welcome to Vegan Chat.

Reading the labels makes the shopping trip a lot longer - a necessary evil,

I'm afraid.

I find that taking the time to read labels makes me

more mindful--in the present, so to speak--which is

one of the gifts I've received from being vegan.
