It was just onions and garlic fried for a couple of minutes, with a tin of chopped tomatoes added, and then cubed sweet potato. This was cooked for about 15 minutes and then blended until smooth. Black pepper was added and served with homemade bread. It was delicious. We had some left over, so the next day we added some cooked lentils to the soup and used it as a sauce over pasta, served with steamed broccoli.
