Guest guest
Hi Anouk Interesting response from Amazon. I always find this sort of response to show double-standards.... you can bet that they wouldn't allow " third-party merchants " to offer other objectionable products - such as slaves, assassins, prostitutes, etc.... Guest guest
hi peter, I agree, Amazon does censor what they sell whenever they please. For instance, they do not sell violent video games, nor will they sell pornographic movies or material. They DO have that power to turn down a merchandise, only if it is convinient. So it is not true went they write letters saying, " the market will decide " Many companies take the responsibilites off of their shoulders by pleading that it is the people who dictate what they sell, based upon demand. Shrugging their shoulders saying " I'm just a merchant " the buyer is whom you must hold responsible. Ebay, Bloomindales, Macy's have written almost exact copies of that letter. -anouk > > , " Peter " <metalscarab@> wrote: > > > > Hi Anouk > > > > Interesting response from Amazon.
