I'm not up to date on evolution, but recently the american museum of

natural history in new york, had a exhibition on darwinism.

they were also excited that they had a skeleton of the link between

birds and dinosaur.

Most Christians accept that a "day" in the context of Genesis is not a literal time-span, but rather a metaphor. It's only a few biblical literalists and creationists who take it to mean exactly 7 days.
