Vegan Ultramarathoner Scott Jurek Wins Again... Scott Jurek has won the grueling BadwaterUltramarathon for the second year in a row. Known asthe toughest footrace on earth, this 135-mile racetakes runners from Death Valley, where temperaturesoften soar to 130 degrees Fahrenheit, to the trailheadof Mt. Whitney in California. The runners cross three mountain ranges with acombined vertical ascent and descent of over 17,000feet...
