Chilled Rice and Radish Salad

I served this today for lunch and it is colorful and tasty. Adding

Tumeric turns the rice a lovely light yellow color.

 

 

4 cups cooked seasoned rice (cooled)

(add following / spices to cooked rice while still warm and before

cooling)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon Tameric

Optional:Salt and pepper to taste

 

Romaine Lettuce leaves

Sliced radishes

Sliced Avacado or Guacamole

Dollop of Veganaise

Chopped Chives for garnish

 

Directions:

Prepare a bed of lettuce on a serving platter.

Place cooled flavored rice in the middle of and on top of lettuce.

Arrange sliced radishes and avacado on top of rice mixture

Top with a dollop of Veganaise

Garnish with chopped Chives
