Guest guest
Made an appointment with vets to get my hypertensive old timer furbabie checked over, and specifically reminded the receptionist when I rang that she should have her blood pressure taken. Booked the day off work. Gets to the vets, normally waiting room full of wound up dogs/cats/rodents/avines etc.............totally empty? Posters up in the window like a supermarket...........specials on speying cats, neutering dogs.................. My regular vets had taken part retirement, now only dealing with referals. Not only that , but took the bloody monitor with them. Oh so sorry but if you want to go to our other branch ( 30 -50 minutes each way ) and see if they will do it for you. Now bearing in mind that my old timer had been in the carrier for over 30 minutes before we got to this vets, you can imagine what my reaction was to their "suggestion". Poor Tigger...........now have made another appointment in January and told them to get the bloody monitor in ready. Back to work tomorrow to start making up the seven and half hours I owe them....
