Vegan Accuses UK Government of Being Radical Extremists on Environment Tax

food. It was obvious to him and his friends that eating meat was unsustainable and a danger to our health and the planet.Vegans think it’s a tragedy for the whole planet that it’s only recently that the UK government, philosophers, academics, scientists, journalists, health professionals and millions of ordinary people have finally caught up with Donald Watson’s thinking.Vegans claim factory farms stuffed with thousands of animals are an uneconomical, unsustainable, illogical and wasteful way of feeding the people of our planet.Resources are wasted, water is wasted, protein and other food is wasted, energy is wasted and as an extra double whammy the animals also produce gallons of methane and waste each day that exasperates global warming still further.Apparently all this self destructive madness is encouraged by the UK government in the form of massive subsidies for the meat and dairy farming industry that add up to billions of

pounds.Meanwhile a plant product that provides essential amino acids, essential fats and a host of other nutritious phyto-nutrients is considered illegal. Farmers have to obtain a special licence to grow hemp from the gornment home office despite it being one of the most useful plants on the planet. As hemp grows it repairs our atmosphere rather than destroying it in the way that factory farmed animals do. It is not just an amazing and versatile nutritious food source but can be used for building materials, paper, rope, clothing, canvas, cosmetics, plastics and even a more environmentally friendly, as a fuel for our cars, buses, trains and lorries.“Instead of madcap taxes the Government should do more to tackle the mad CAP (common agricultural policy) subsidies and invest in sustainable alternatives to food and energy such as hemp” says Bishop-Weston.“Things will only change if the sustainable
