That's what I like to see.... a new hair-brained scheme with no concept of possible repercussions.... will be interesting to watch the violent crime rate around this car park... wouldn't mind betting it'll rise fairly sharply!

New device tackles teen yobbery

A 'teenage dog whistle' is being introduced in Gloucestershire to prevent anti-social behaviour. The Mosquito machine, which produces an 80-decibel squeal, can usually only be heard by people under 25. Police plan to install the device in a car park in Bream to stop teenagers from grouping together. The move comes after complaints from Bream residents, who say they are fed up with being intimidated by gangs of noisy youngsters. Mobile CCTV cameras will also be fitted in the car park. The Mosquito works by emitting a harmless ultra sonic tone that generally can only be heard by people aged 25 and under. It was developed because adults lose the ability to hear high-pitched sound. In trials, it has proven that the longer someone is exposed to the sound, the more annoying it becomes.

I`m sure that was invented by a Welsh man.? ( no seriously, I think it was a Welsh shopkeeper to deter kids messing about outside his shop, back last year )? As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there's a twilight where everything remains seemingly unchanged, and it is in such twilight that we must be aware of change in the air, however slight, lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness.
