Guest guest
Hi Geraldine~ Thank you , I appreciate that! And I agree with you, the gray areas are always hard to find and even more difficult to explain in words on " paper " . Without the facial expressions, body language and tone of voice in expression, interpretations can be taken differently than they were intended. I think that those of us on this group are very passionate in our beliefs and there are very many of us who have the same core values, just different ways in following them. So sometimes when we speak passionately about something, it may come across differently to another. Especially to someone who is new on this group. Not to mention that some of us are from differnt states in the US, the UK, Wales and other countries as well, so we see things differently because they are different for where we live. I stepped back and read some of the posts to Jennifer and they come across in what can be viewed as an attacking manner, as if they were telling her that her views and what she does is wrong. But knowing the members on this list, I really do not believe that is what they meant. What they mean in my opinion is to explain their views and beliefs and why they feel that way. We have all become so comfortable with one another that we are very open and honest here, sometimes to a " brutal " point. LOL But that " brutality " is not meant to hurt or attack, simply to speak freely and honestly to help by giving a new view. So being here so long it is easy for me to see how both sides can take an issue. So of course being the little meddler than I am (LOL) I try to even everything out and show different points of view. I don't want Jennifer or anyone else to get the wrong impression of this group or its members, she came here for support and I hope that she knows it is truly here. Everyone is being supportive of her, but just letting her know their thoughts on things. Ok, back off my soapbox for now! Our day to day lives just aren't that ridged with how we have to manage our working lives at times unfortunately. You raised some good points with regard to danger and nobility in respect of peoples' various types of work and their beliefs, ending your paragraph " with a mother protecting her baby " - all in all, well said Nikki > > Geraldine > " Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those > who could not hear the music " > ~Angela Monet
