Watched a show last nite on the sundance channel..

Torture

a British one hour show based on the conditions at Gitmo

now..while i've read deeply into this, and seen other documentaries and the

like...

last nite's show was just intense...

they took 7 volunteers and basically treated them as if they were in Gitmo,

except they were only in for 48 hrs, and didn't get the more harsh treatments

such as water boarding...

afterwards

tho i've thought it for a long time

now, it is beyond shameful that i reside in this nation

we are setting ourselves up for the biggest fall...

As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances,

there's a twilight where everything remains seemingly unchanged, and it is in

such twilight that we must be aware of change in the air, however slight, lest

we become unwitting victims of the darkness.

Hi Fraggle

It is terrible, and very frightening and depressing. It makes us feel so

helpless. There are UK soldiers being tried for terrible vicious abuse of

people and I bet they get off with it.

I have the William O Douglas quote on my desk at work.
