Living Foods

All New Recipes!!

Jyoti-Bihanga Vegetarian Restaurant

3351 Adams Ave – Normal Heights Neighborhood

Sunday, October 1st 3:00-5:30 p.m.

Due to the wide interest and positive feedback about the previous

living foods classes another one is finally being offered! This class

will include some of my favorite recipes from a beet-coconut soup to a

berries and cream pie and loads in between! Complete menu will follow

in the reminder email.

Nowadays many people are incorporating a higher percentage of living

foods into their diet, not only for weight loss, but also for

increased energy, healing and mental clarity.

A living foods diet does not have to be bland or overly complicated!

In this class we will discuss the benefits of living foods, the

equipment used for preparation and we will demo numerous delicious and

practical recipes.

Come ready to sample a wide variety of enzyme-rich, organic, living

foods. Students will receive a recipe packet, a recommended reading

list and practical knowledge on the why and how to get started on

living foods.

The instructor, Teekhnata Metzler, is a contract teacher at the

Optimum Health Institute, a raw food detox retreat in Lemon Grove.

Over the past several years she has coordinated and taught their

entire food-prep curriculum. She has also taught vegan cooking and raw

food classes at various venues for the past decade. She incorporates a

high percentage (85-95%) of raw foods into her own diet, which

provides her with the nutrition necessary to pursue her goals as an

ultra distance runner.

Please join us for an exciting and informative class. Register by

calling Teekhnata at 619-516-3543. Prepayment guarantees a spot.

Register early since space is limited. At the last two living foods

classes we had to turn people away due to space limitations. Don't

miss out.

Cost: $35 – By September 28th

$45- After September 28th , space permitting
