Guest guest
corn syrup(actually, high fructose corn syrup) is vegan... its just corn starch with enzymes added to it so it changes into frucose... BUT 1. high fructose corn syrup has been implicated in various health ailments(i think mostly cuz its in everything nowadays) 2. corn syrup, at least here in the states, is going to have a lot of GMO in em.... i don't think its possible to get corn syrup from non-gmo corn never seen organic corn syrup..tho maybe its out there(actually, i've never looked) alternatives depends wot you want it fer.. there's always fresh fruit! er, things like rapadura and sugar in the raw...er Stevia.... cheers fraggle >corinna <cor390 >Jul 5, 2006 8:35 AM > , 100%veg*n , Vegan_network > corn syrup > >is corn syrup vegan or unvegan? if unvegan what can be >used as substitute > > > > > > > > >To send an email to - >
