Well I still enjoy snow. If it snows here we always go out for a walk in it, or drive around to somewhere where there is more snow. Guest guest
the blizzard of 78....we got around 3'... it snowed x-mas eve.... then snowed again afterwards, like maybe a week later(?)...but this time we only got like..ummm..4 inches maybe...my father was in a hurry, so he just backed out of the driveway without us shoveling it... big mistake since we didn't shovel, just drove over the snow for like a week, it got supremely compacted then like, the next week...it snowed again, another couple inches..but this time it started to turn to rain..but it was still below freezing...ice storm.... so now we had compacted snow AND ice on the driveway (the ice made fer good sledding..but...) then, the blizzard of 78 hit my father truck totally disappeared under a drift.... took us a couple days to shovel the driveway out, but we couldn't get it all, because we had neglected to shovel that other storm out... i remember the plows come up and pushed the snow up over the power lines one house down...you could climb the snowbank and touch the top of the telephone poles... the car kept getting stuck in the driveway from all the snow and ruts all winter... and...it all finally didn't melt until april.....
