Guest guest
I didn't remember her, but I looked up her name on the internet. http://www.answers.com/topic/flo-hyman http://www.answers.com/topic/flo-hyman Thanks for sharing about this friend of yours and your time with her. It is important to remember her and all she gave for her family and the game that she was so talented in. What a shock to have died right there at a game. I know she would be proud of you for watching the games and spreading your enthusiasm for the Olympics. I looked up the disorder that she has and now I'm wondering if this child I know, has this disorder. He just had surgery a couple of weeks ago, to repair in his eyes that had no elasticity in them and kept his eyes almost closed. They look so much better today. He was born with some other issues that go along with this too. How sad that she never even knew she had this disorder. - thelilacflower Vegetarian Group Saturday, August 16, 2008 9:39 PM Re: Olympics I don't know if you remember Flo Hyman who lead the women's volleyball team to win a silver metal, I grew up with her and no one knows what this sweet woman went thru to train. Her Mom passed and left her with siblings to raise. Well Flo ate at my house two weeks before she died on the volleyball court training a team, doing what she loved. I will always watch the Olympics in honor of my friend Flo. There is no right or wrong thing to tell you to do. We all have reasons so your husband is entitled to his. I usually watch everything and I miss it so much. Just wondering-- Ann
