Guest guest Posted August 9, 2008 Report Share Posted August 9, 2008 Minted Mashed Peas 2 1/4 cups dried peas 1 tsp. sea salt 4 tbsps. malt vinegar 1 tbsp. mint jelly ground black pepper Soak the peas for 2 hours. Drain the peas and place in a pan with 1 1/2 cups of cold water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes until the mixture is tender and thickened.
