i think i might have a soulution to your inexpensive need at the potluck its

pretty cheap and ive recieved nothing but compliments

Three bean chile

half a medium onion

2 bell peppers

half a cup extra virgin olive oil

1 cup vegtable broth

1 32oz or 28oz crushed tomatoes

1 tbsp cumin

2 tbsp chil powder

1 16oz black bean can

1 16oz dark red kidney beans

1/2 cup vegatarian refried beans

start by chopping up the onion and peppers and add them to a frying pan, add the

the olive oil. set the burner on around medium heat, let it harminize for about

5 mins after it starts to sizzle. add the vegtable to a tall pot, pour in the

vegtable broth set the burner on medium heat. add the crushed tomatoes, black

beans, and kidney beans to the pot, stir. then add chil powder and cumin to the

pot. throw in the refried beans and make sure to stir it diligently to mix up

the refried beans. let the chil simmer for about 7 mins, and serve. i think this

a great solution to the potluck in my opionon

hopefully enjoy ,Braxton

I am attending a rather large potluck and wanted to know if anyone had any ideas

on what to bring that is not too expensive (FRG meeting so at least 100 people).

I am completely stumped.

Have you checked out our organized extensive recipe files? You'll have loads of

great inspirations there.

Don't forget to check the subfolders in each catagories. There are lots ,more

recipes there. Be sure and check out the casserole folders. Those go over well

at potlucks.
