Guest guest Posted August 8, 2008 Report Share Posted August 8, 2008 Cauliflower and Onion Mustard Pickles 3 large cauliflower 3 lbs. pickling onions Dressing: 3 tbsps. mustard 3 tbsps. flour 1 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. turmeric 2 cups sugar 1 quart vinegar salt to taste Break cauliflower into flowerettes and cook unitl partly done. Wash and peel onions. Mix cauliflower and dressing together, bring to a boil for a few minutes or until the dressingis thick. Stir onions into mixture, let cook ver slowly until onions are just tender. Stir frequently. Pack into hot sterilized jars and seal. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
