I am am ovo-lacto vegetarian and my family eats some meat. I have been slowly going toward vegan, but the cheese I've tried is really gross. I do eat quite a bit of cheese (probably too much) and some yogurt everyday. The soy cheese I tried 7 years ago was so gross I couldn't swallow the second bite. I bought some almond cheese last month from Whole Foods and while I love almonds, the almond cheese was like chewing rubber-not good consistency and very bland. Should I just skip the whole cheese thing and go without or is there a good brand that people can recommend? I havent' tried soy yogurt. Is it any good?
