Guest guest Posted August 2, 2008 Report Share Posted August 2, 2008 Mrs. Fields Nutty White Chunk Cookies 2 1/4 c Flour 1/2 t Baking soda 1/4 t Salt 1 c Light brown sugar -- packed 1/2 c Sugar 3/4 c Salted butter -- softened 2 lg Eggs 2 ts Vanilla 1 c Pecans -- chopped 1 1/2 c White chocolate bar -- chopped Preheat oven to 300ºF. In a medium bowl. combine flour, soda and salt. Mix well with a wire whisk. set aside. In large bowl with an electric mixer blend sugars at medium speed. add butter and mix to form a grainy paste, scraping down the sides of the bowl. Add eggs and vanilla, and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add the flour mixture, pecans and white chocolate, and blend at low speed until just combined. Do not overmix. Drop by rounded tablespoonsful onto ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake 20-22 minutes or until edges just begin to turn golden brown. Use a spatula to transfer cookies immediately to a cool, flat surface. Makes 36. Are you a mom with a child with Special needs or disabilities.
