Talk about buying local!

We went to the Portland Farmer's Market today to get our weekly fix of

fresh organic veggies (with maybe a pastry or two that fell into our

hands -- oops.) There's a pizza place in Portland called Hot Lips Pizza

that's well known for buying locally.

 

I was in line to buy squash at one of the organic stands. Just as I

stepped up to pay, a Hot Lips guy had just finished buying a bunch of

veggies and was heading back to the Hot Lips stand just across the walkway.

 

You can't get more local than that.
