Guest guest Posted August 2, 2008 Report Share Posted August 2, 2008 I put a green pepper plant, in a pot, near my ornamental plants and between the trees an the garden. Aphids love green pepper plants and will leave everything else to go to them. If the peppers are in a pot, you can they move the pot to another area if necessary and spray soapy water on it. The soap won't jurt the pepper plant, but makes the aphids so they can't fly and then you can just hose them away. When the plant is clean, take it back to collect another batch of aphids. I read a long time ago that chives and any other " onion family " plant also is repellent to aphids.
