Guest guest
In many cases, something that you crave is a food that you are intolerant of - that is why it is so hard to stop eating cheese and it also the reason that people who have stopped and try it again find that they have symptoms. Your body gets a " rush " from eating the food. Once you get past the cravings, you will find that you really don't miss it. The easiest way to move away from eating cheese is to cook meals that have never had cheese in them such as Chinese or Indian food - that way you won't feel deprived. Tofutti's " Better than Sour Cream " is really better than the real thing. There are a few passable cheese like subs but you should only try them when your body doesn't remember real cheese. A warning: most processed foods have some milk product in them so these need to be eliminated to get rid of the cravings. You will be amazed when you read the labels. Guest guest
That and having a husband who loves cheese doesn't help. LOL I've tried to go vegan before and it seems like it is just everywhere. Casein, whey, etc. Thanks for your help. I has been especially bad since I stopped eating as much. Now when I do, it's awful.
