Plants need to be able to endure nighttime temperatures in the 40s and daytimes in the 80s or 90s. I don't know how you guys do it. We're so spoiled in the western part of the state. Temperatures are mild and ranges are narrow. We don't get much snow and only a week or two of really cold weather every year. You can easily garden for 9 months, and the most dedicated can go year round. My hat's off to you! Cheers, Trish
