Guest guest Posted July 27, 2008 Report Share Posted July 27, 2008 * Exported from MasterCook * Vegetable Pakoras Recipe By :Linda Majzlik Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Starters And Snacks Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound mixed prepared vegetables (aubergine -- (450g) courgette, onion, cauliflower, broccoli, etc) cut into even sized chunks vegetable oil BATTER: 5 ounces gram flour -- (150g) 4 fluid ounce water -- (125ml) 2 tablespoons plain soya yoghurt 1 dessertspoon lemon juice 1 rounded dessertspoon mild curry paste Whisk the batter ingredients together until smooth. Dip the vegetable chunks in the batter, allowing any excess to drain off. Deep fry in hot vegetable oil until golden and drain on kitchen paper.
