Guest guest
I have only heard good things about the Cuisinart and yet some members dodnt like them or maybe that particular model isn't good. I can't tell you how much I love my KitchenAid food processor. I even grate up lettuce in it. Makes fine strands just like Tado Bell lettuce. Whips up hummus in seconds. I have a beautiful new Rival crockpot and I can't stand it. Cooks up things so fast they will burn if you don't watch it. I love my old Rival CP's they cook slow and I don't have to worry about my beans and stews being over done while I'm running a few errands. Everyone on another group I'm in hate their Kitchens aids, including me. years ago I had a KA and loved it, my sister got one because I had one. I use mine alot. It died, so I got another brand by a well known chef and don't remember what happened to it, except to say it died. When I was ready for a new one I ordered another KA. I used it once and the blade stuck to the machine....I couldn't get the bowl or the blade off the machine. I had to throw it away. I forget what happened we knew we coudln't send it back in on warranty. So, I ordered another one from KA, same thing. In the meantime I was watching iron chef on food tv and the same thing happened to the 2 chefs on there. They had to turn the whole machine upside down to get what they wanted out of the bowl; they couldn't get the blade or the bowl off the machine. Since, I've gotten a Cuisinart and it works so much better. The blade goes all the way to the outside of the bowl, which my KA did not. I use my processors hard and this has stood up well. I sincerely am glad you all have had good success with your KA, as I used to be. I only wish I could have continued being one of their customers but having the same issue twice and seeing it with 2 chefs on tv, I no longer am a customer of theirs. Guest guest
And some very expensive appliances can be the worst. I paid quite a bit for a De Longhi (sp?) Toaster oven and it was horrible. And the DVD and booklet just gloss over it, giving no hint of the problem. After that, I would NEVER buy another Cuisinart. Period.
