Yes, I know how much you love your butter, Donna, so I thought that

if you are recommending this book then it must be good, LOL! I want

to try the lemon bars - I've really missed tarte au citron since I

took to eating vegan and this looks like it might be a good

alternative. I also like the look of the Mediterranean Olive Bread

which I plan to try tomorrow if I can get hold of sun-dried tomatoes.

There are a number of other recipes that I have earmarked to try.

I also bought Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World and have yet to try

any recipes - any particular recommendations?

I was stubborn when Sissy got the book as a gift, I told her I didn't think the

recipes would taste good, I was so wrong.  I can't wait to try more recipes, I'm

going to concentrate on this book more.  I do have some great vegan cookies I

make but trying a new recipe always scares me.  Some of those cookies and

muffins from Whole Foods taste like cardboard, they lack flavor or they are so

dried out. I have had to break my habit of thinking if it doesn't have butter in

it, then it's no good.LOL

Oh the vegan cupcake book Sissy has right now, she wasn't too impressed with

those recipes, I haven't had time to really bake new recipes, I've been in

biscotti mode for months now.  Everyone wants those to dip in coffee, tea or

wine. Off to make biscotti right now.
