Guest guest
Oh my goodness!! This cookbook is so wonderful. Since becoming veg, it is just easier to make your own desserts than to purchase them. And this book has proven to be so wonderful. And like Donna said, no eggs and no dairy either. They are very rich and wonderful! It cures any taste buds for something sweet and sinful tasting. I am preparing myself to tackle the lemon cheesecake next. I have made the following: Peanut Butter Cookies Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Banana Crumble Apple Crumble Vanilla Cupcakes Pancakes Berry Smoothies Bread Pudding Rice Pudding Banana Bread All of these have turned out amazing. I have never cooked that much from one cookbook ever. It is nice because I know at least what the girls are eating is very good and not loaded with crap. This cookbook is truly a favorite when it comes to deserts. I was never one for much baking, but now I am. I would definitely recommend this cookbook to anyone that has a sweet tooth every now and again. It truly satisfies. -Gypsy Gypsy Re: The Joy of Vegan Baking Posted by: " Donnalilacflower " thelilacflower thelilacflower Fri Jul 18, 2008 2:53 pm (PDT) The Joy of Vegan Baking is one of the best dessert books I have ever come across. Just imagine, it's completely dairy and egg free. I get so sick off milk products. This is a blessing to be able to eat a nice slice of cheesecake and not suffer.
